New Scouts
As a new scout, your scout will need the Class A Uniform. Below are the pictures of the items and the prices of the items your scout will need throughout the years of scouting. If you click the “Click Here” buttons it will redirect you to the Scout Shop where you can purchase the items online. The profits of the items listed below do not go to Cambria Pack 8, they go directly to the Scout Council.
Certain items are geared towards the different rankings of each scout. Please follow the list below to determine what rank your child is in to know what items to purchase for that year of scouting.
Each Age is a different Rank. Below are the rank ages and titles and a picture to showcase what the uniform should look like:
5-6 year olds- Lions
6-7 year olds -Tigers
7-8 year olds- Wolves
8-9 year olds- Bears
9-10 year olds- Webelos 1 (Blue or Tan Shirt)
10-11 year olds- Arrow of Lights (Tan Shirt)

What to Purchase as a New Scout?
What to Purchase
Class A Uniform Blue Shirt-starting at $32.99
Class A button down shirt is the uniform your scout will be wearing through out their scouting years. We recommend sizing up to get more use out of this uniform if your scout plans on sticking with cub scouts.
Neckerchief-$12.99
The neckerchief goes around the scouts collar and signifies what rank/den your child is in. For example: Tiger, Wolves, Bears, Webelos, & Arrow of Light.
Slide-$7.99
The slide attaches to the neckerchief and signifies what rank/den your child is in. For example: Tiger, Wolves, Bears, Webelos, & Arrow of Light.
Council Patch- $5.99
Western New York Council Patch is attached to the left shoulder to signify what council your scout is apart of. See picture/video below for patch placement.
World Crest Emblem-$2.49
World Crest Emblem is centered above the left pocket. See picture/video below for patch placement.
Blue Belt-$14.99
This Blue Belt is apart of your scouts Class A uniform. It is to be worn every time your scout wears their Class A. It holds all of your scouts achievement belt loops that they earn by attending every Den Meeting.
Optional: Ball Cap-$22.99
OPTIONAL: This to be worn with Class A uniforms and totally optional. You would purchase the rank/den your child is. For example: Tigers, Wolves, Bears, Webelos, & Arrow of Lights.
Red Pack Number 8 Unit Patch-$1.99
This Patch is the Pack number and goes below the Council Patch on the left shoulder. See picture/video below for placement.
Tan Class A Shirt-$39.99
Webelos 1 and Arrow of Lights may purchase this shirt if they plan on moving up to BSA.
Red Den Patch Number- $1.99
Den Patch number is for *ONLY* the Tigers, Wolves, Bears, Webelos 1, & Arrow of Lights. The Dens below are the number patch to purchase for your child. This Patch goes on the right shoulder below the american flag patch. See picture/video below for placement.

Lions Uniform-$14.99
The Lions T-Shirt is their uniform for the year, they don’t need the Class A blue button down until they become a Tiger.
Optional: Diamond Rank Holder-$0.99
OPTIONAL- This plastic diamond shape ran holder holds all your scouts ranks throughout their scouting career. Its much easier than ironing or sewing them on.
OPTIONAL: Patch Adhesive helps with attaching all the patches to the Class A uniform. That way you can just iron them on, and it is cut to fit, so super easy!
